A response to Baron’s super about the “mod drama”
Hello. Former mod here. Let me just say some things I noticed about last night’s superchat from @littlelam3691. Time stamp is 1:53:05 for those interested. In a question about if he can address the drama with ADFleet (the superchat said nothing about mods as a whole) Baron first responded “No I will not.” Oh also, as an aside, the person had to type “Adfilt” or something like that, because you literally can’t even say her name in the chat. Baron also avoids saying her name aloud but I digress. Anyway, after saying he won’t address it, he ends by saying “Those people aren’t important, but suffice it to say it was a disaster. ALL OF THEM. Just a complete disaster. I’m here to clear our names. He has no right to say this, and I bring the receipts. The whole “mod drama” started when two former mods consistently behaved in unacceptable ways towards us. There will come a time when I can and might drop the proof of that. I don’t think I need to now. My point here is this: When it started to be personal attacks against Baron’s character in private, I STOOD UP FOR BARON in private as well. It was literally MY DEFENSE OF BARON that turned two other mods against me. Here is the message from 2/20, after hearing non stop drama crying about Baron, that one former mod had such a problem with. This is not only the Genesis of the problem that led to today, but it also my defense of myself and the other mods. Her only objection was misrepresenting what I meant when I said “If we don’t have Baron we still have Coach” or whatever. This was a statement in response to Baron entertaining the idea of getting bot mods. It’s actually funny, because I said this as an encouraging way to the group. I explicitly stated that it’s Baron’s show, he can do what he wants, and if he gets bot mods, then we can keep our chins up because we are still mods for Coach. There was nothing nefarious. ALSO, I don’t even feel like I have to clear the names of Theo, Fleet, and Whitney (my fiancé). All who know them and have experience interacting with them know they are the absolute best people I’ve ever gotten to know, and I’m not being hyperbolic. They facilitated an atmosphere of cohesion, unity, love, and cooperation within the chat. They have ZERO to be ashamed of. So tell me KING BARON, was it a disaster when I was defending you in private, spending 12-15 hours a week modding for free, serving the show joyously and faithfully? Was this the disaster you speak of. THIS is why we were turned against. This lets you know the evil and slander we are up against. More to come. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
