For the most part I’m a Marvel collector. Epics are my favorite way to collect and read. More than TPBs, more than Omnis.
I’m only in my 2nd year so I can’t seem to see the logic of why this type of book goes out of print so often, and why in cases that I know of like X-Men, there are gaps?!!
I guess maybe some sections of a series don’t sell well enough to warrant an Epic, but some skip on into a Omni.

Epics seem to hold value for the most part, and from a collection standpoint, they seem to be a a great way for a casual reader to jump in and get great value and find stories they like.

So why are (Marvel) epics so fragmented?!?!?
