Move/Teach In Guyana
Hi All, I am a US Teacher considering taking a position in Guyana. I have done quite a bit of research on the city and countries history. I am a 43M, single, health conscious (yoga classes, exercise, healthy eating), enjoy the occasional night out, coffee, reading, music and enjoy embracing local culture when I travel; having lived briefly in both DR, Mexico, and Europe. I am familiar with Afro and Indo Caribbean culture; especially the use of food and herbs as medicine. I speak basic Spanish with a desire to continuing improving.
Can you give me a broad overview? Does Georgetown offer opportunities such as I listed earlier?
Thanks Guyana!
