Hi everyone,
I recently bought a 2019 Jetta. Before this, I was driving a Lexus (hybrid/electric), so I’m not really used to how regular gas engines sound and I’m not very knowledgeable about cars in general.
I’ve noticed the engine noise on the Jetta seems a bit louder/different than what I’m used to, especially at idle and during acceleration. I’m not sure if this is just how these cars normally sound or if it’s something I should be concerned about.
For those who own or have driven a similar Jetta, does this sound normal to you? Any input would be really appreciated!
Also there's squeeking noise coming from tires when applying breaks and i called dealership they said they changed the pads before delivering so it might be due to new pads, but i am sure new pads don't make any noise, i asked for bill and they didn't reply. Should i report it OMVIC if they will not fix it? It almost 2months since i bought the car
Thanks in advance.
