Any theories on which patch Dottore would release?
Saw this post and it's cool asf if Cap is actually playable in 7.4 due to this logic of Antumbra.
Do you all have any similar theory to predict Dottore's release patch?
Dates of upcoming 7.x patches as follows:-
7.0 - August 12, 2026 7.1 - September 23, 2026 7.2 - November 4, 2026 7.3 - December 16, 2026 7.4 - January 27, 2027 7.5 - March 10, 2027 7.6 - April 21, 2027 7.7 - June 2, 2027
Some theory regarding 6.6 AQ
Leaks are mentioned so anyone who don't wanna read leaks please begone.
I have another theory.
Currently I am seeing two different theories/sides. One side says that Ogttore is very alive and is most probably chilling in Snezhanaya (I lean more towards this side) and another side says Ogttore split himself and created different segments. Although there is a bit flaw in the 2nd theory(in my opinion) but I got a new theory on my mind about it so I will in this post talk about this. I will breakdown and try to explain.
Ogttore split himself in different segments but if he indeed did that to himself then who was the one who used those slices to make his segments? So here comes my theory.
I believe Ogttore at first made one segment before completely spliting himself. The first segment which Dottore made was Omega that's why we see him explicitly and also he's the one who got introduced officially with namecard.
As far as I understood what three deadly selve thing is, your own fragment of soul which carries a quality of yours has a body to themselve and can leave the body to merge with other fragments of the same soul allowing the original person to come back. Now, Ogttore decides to make Omega and gives him all his selfishness because he knows to make the plans of defiance work, he needs to make one segment very selfish. Selfish to the point where he can kill all the other segments to bring his original self back. I personally think Omega is the prime segment because who would Og make first? Obviously the one who was at the prime of his life and give it all his selfishness.
Now why would someone like Dottore do something like this? To transcend fate or simply to cheat fate itself just like Focalor. He made Omega and then completely split himself allowing Omega to make his other segments. That's why Omega had the kill switch of all segments. You can call Omega the executor of Og's will.
Now what happens if all segments are dead? That's where Ogttore might have played his cards. In Linnea's story quest, we see how Celaeno hated her predetermined fate but knew she couldn't change it whereas Linnea accepted her fate while deciding to not dwell on it. So what if Ogttore accepted his fate but also decided to defy it cause he hates the fate bestowed upon him?
He knew that he would die an outcast so why not make different versions of his own selves and make them all die? All his segments are part of him, all of them together is him so if all of them dies(or even atleast one of them) then his fate is fulfilled. Now here's a tricky part, if all the segments dies then Ogttore might be back to life due to all their consciousness finally merging back together. This is how he finally can be released from the shackles of fate cause his fate is fulfilled and the death he was supposed to go through was fulfilled too. Now he's free and hence comes back.
Now you might ask why won't his soul/consciousness go back to the leyline. As I remember the three deadly self method was used by Istaroth to keep Zibai from not dying completely. Those fragments of soul was stored in different objects. So he might have done the same. The dead segments might not be actually dead but just immobile cause they are cyborgs not humans. So the pieces of soul is anyways intact and stored in the segments even if they are dead/immobile. Thus his soul didn't had to return to the leyline. Also how can a fragment of soul return to the leylines without being a complete soul? If at 6.6 he dies then his soul would still be intact because the body isn't a human, it's a clanker, an object used to store his soul and was given functions to work as a human but never a human.
Now how would Og get a body if his souls merge and his clanker bodies are destroyed? Here's a short theory about this. Og's body might be at hibernation. He split his souls to make his segments then what must have happened to the body? They might have simply preserved the body about which only Pantalone, Pierro and Tsaritsa knew. I mean if he can keep Pantalone immortal then he can also preserve his soulless body right? Or he might get a new body(with the blue-black mask) which symbolizes his rebirth and letting go his obsession of defying fate. This does makes sense cause if he had defied and transcended his fate then why would he be obsessed with the idea anymore?
If this is how things go then us seeing Prime segment smirking beside the burning tree can be a symbolism to show that everything was orchestrated by Dottore and everything went according to his plan. The segment doesn't have to be physically present to smirk you know.
With this, Dottore killed multiple birds with one arrow like using the other dead segments as a virus, using the dead segments as a bargaining to get gnosis, using dead segments to fulfill the fate as well as defying it. Also I don't think Moonttore(whom we consider Omega) necessarily died to enter the leyline so I assume Omega would make himself merge with the destroyed segments in some other way allowing Og to comeback which we can consider similar to three deadly selve process used for zibai.
Now how Omega does that? Like how he merges his soul with the dead segment's? The same way Zibai's deadly selves let their ego be removed from that body and turn into a fragment. Omega might have let his body separate from his sense of self and let the sense of self which we can call one fragment of soul merge back with the soul of destroyed segments.
This also explains why Omega agreed to delete other segments because he knows very well that every segments including him was bound to die at the end to fulfill the fate but maybe the only reason Omega never questioned it is because he knew Og was right and at the end of the day he was part of Og so if Og lives then he also lives. Afterall even if Omega was the most selfish segment but he wasn't a fool right?
I tried to make sense with the theory, I mean it can be true or cannot be. There can be mistakes in the theory so feel free to point it out. Also let me know what you all think.
