This is hands-down the best contribution to the discourse surrounding Lindy West's recent memoir, Adult Braces. It's also a masterful example of how to hybridize a personal essay with a book review.

I'm really into stories about influencers with giant followings running scams and/or stories about women getting sucked so deep into their internet personas that they struggle to climb out. Really want to read novel after novel about these things!
