I finally did it! Been a long time lurker on this sub, and finally got my Microlocs started a week ago. I was getting quoted prices like $1200 here and couldn’t fathom a whole week’s paycheck going to do my hair. So I went to Jamaica and got it done for $430. Literally 1/3 of the price here. My hair is 10 inches long, and with two people doing it, it took abt 6.5 hours. I’m so excited for my Microlocs journey!
