Writing
Poetry is a part of my natural expression. I am an artist but I was a writer before I was an artist, or at least before I was in tune with my creativity.
I love the power of words and shaping them as I see fit. I feel so strongly, poetry is the only thing that ever could ride my waves of intensity and honesty. I have spent years in notebooks writing down my experiences, sorting through it all.
I am discovering myself anew every single day. I hope to connect to others on a journey of self-actualization and hope to inspire those on the path.
All I can hope is for my words to find those who want to read them. Thanks for reading 💋

Common Sense
is a flower that doesn’t grow
in everyone’s garden.
You gotta go all in,
pick through the weeds for a gem;
The choice is yours—
It’s you or them.
You lose it all,
Only to start again.

In essence
In essence
My presence is assured
I am the one
To lean on when you’re unsure
Have faith in me
The divine word
I will leave you
Feeling secure —
Affirm your defenses
No need to be insecure
I know you’re restless
Use your common senses
That is the cure
There is no limit
To what you can endure
in word thought & action , be pure
But
I know that
love is unmeasurable…
in the softest terms;
It’s nothing more than
a brief encounter,
lessons learned…
Nothing more than
a bridge burned,
a learning curve,
a page turned…
Nothing more than
pain endured.
To wear one’s heart
on a sleeve
is more than absurd.
