And some sun-dried tomatoes herbs and olive oil ♥️
I used to think
silence meant confusion,
something unfinished
waiting to be understood.
But silence has its own language.
It tells you
what words never will.
So I stopped waiting
for things to become clear
and started listening
to what already was.
There’s a kind of peace
in no longer reaching—
in letting what doesn’t come forward
stay where it is.
Not everything is meant
to be held onto
just because it was felt deeply.
Some things are only ever meant
to be recognised…
and released.
If it’s real,
it won’t ask to be guessed,
or hidden,
or half-lived.
It will meet me
in the open.
And if it doesn’t—
then I already have my answer
Goodnight…
I don’t really understand it,
only that it never faded.
If anything,
it grew louder in the quiet.
You feel like something I carry,
without trying…
like home in a place I’ve never been.
It’s often just a feeling,
one I don’t want to lose myself in,
but can’t seem to let go of either.
Strange how time apart
didn’t change it—
it only made it clearer.
Just… something that stayed
Sleep well 🤍
