This Daytona 116520 build started as a Noob V2 116500. I wanted to build a copy of my gen 116520 "D" series. It has actually taken me over 2 years to procure the gen parts for this build.

Beginning with the NoobV2 116500 case I reshaped the lugs and crown guards, removed the rehaut engravings and polished the rehaut. The pushers were reshaped to be more like gen and the pusher angle to the case was corrected. I found a rare 2 Tick gen dial black super luminova hands and initially replaced the Noob hands with some aftermarket ( thin hands), but didn't like the look so I installed a full set of gen Super luminova 116520 hands that also worked for the "D" Series transition year. I added gen LEC crystal, gen bezel, gen crown and stem, added a gen case back, had the original SH4130 replaced with a new VR4130 and had it serviced and calibrated by Mike @watchservicesny. Finished it off with a new ARF bracelet.

The time and money spent for this 116520 build was well worth it. It's definitely been my favorite Daytona build masterpiece.
