In Chainsaw Man, the Author makes a point about how bad fiction is important to the human spirit. By writing a shit ending to his manga, he exposes the Reader's Hypocrisy for being disappointed by Part 2. Bravo, Fujimoto.
Would we have really enjoyed and appreciated the highs of part 1 without the lows of part 2?
I mean, yeah, probably.
