We've been coming to Cozumel since 2020, only staying at hotels/resorts. This time around we're looking at condos at the Landmark, Peninsula Grand (PG), or El Cantil for January - family of 4 (the 2 kids are in college). Landmark and PG are less expensive, El Cantil is over $1k more but we like that we can walk everywhere and have the grocery stores nearby - just not sure we can justify the big price tag. I've narrowed it down to these three options based on snorkeling and ease of food! :) Landmark = Money Bar for food, El Cantil = close restaurants/grocery stores, and PG = onsite chef by the pool.
We love to snorkel and know the snorkeling is great at the Landmark (Money Bar) but my hang up there is the lack of a heated pool, which I can try to get over. We've stayed at Playa Azul and were so disappointed in the snorkeling, it wasn't much better in front of the Westin. How is the snorkeling at PG? If it's similar to Playa Azul, I will rule it out and make a decision on the other two.
This is is a family vacation before my son graduates college so I want to make sure the condo we pick has good snorkeling. Thanks for the help!
