My mom is a professional painter (acrylic) that lives on the other side of the country from us. She paints at home and at a gallery where she displays/sells her art. I'm a woodworker and want to surprise her with something handmade for Mother's Day. I was looking at building a paint brush box or holder (or combo) or marker box. I had her show off her art supplies to my daughter as a ruse to see what she was using (lots of different sizes and lengths of brushes - as you can imagine - and she really liked her posca markers).

I know giving an artist art supplies is frowned upon, but if you have any thoughts on what I might create for her that she would cherish, I'd really appreciate it.
