Anyone had any experience with these? Have had them recommended to me, for that price I can’t say no, just got to wait for re-stock, anyone have any good situations where you think they’d work the best?
Here’s a reminder guys, this is a brand new tank, these o rings are renowned for drying out, and will damage from just fitting a regulator, these o rings are very cheap from most airsoft suppliers, and it’s well worth keeping a bag handy, a cur o rings like this will leak like a sieve
Just finished with an AEG build and it’s barely shooting over common limit, it’s still uk legal, but it’s getting a little close for comfort, it’s just that close to site limits, I’m reluctant to change the spring, but it’s hit the limit as the piston seal was shit, and the nozzle was basically caved in, so just for repairing the broken parts, it’s now over the limit, what do I do, fucken break it?😂😂
Honestly, saw some guy with a set up like this in one of t238’s ads, so I bought a case and, honestly it looks awesome, just have a lot of empty space, and really want to use the space the most effectively, any thoughts?
Let me start off by saying I’m a huge fan of the Titan, but this is my first time using the aster, and not only that, this is the V1, so no GCS app (without blu link or usb link) so it’s barebones, and can I say, of the budget ETU’s this is absolutely top notch.
Really easy to install (pretty minor gearbox mods, just needed to remove a strengthening rib to place the trigger sticker) and route the wires, really that simple, paired with the quantum trigger, absolutely incredible, all for only £70.
The trigger response is epic once you have the pre cocking dialled in, and the adjustable trigger sensitivity is pretty great.
For this price, you get a true optical ETU, and I can’t complain, save for one thing, I’ve been spoilt with Gate’s app control, and the selector and trigger pull combo to program takes a good minute to work out, the only other ETU I’ve used recently with a trigger programming system is the Eshooter Kestrel V2, which is also a pretty decent option, with its major downfall being the microswitches for the selector, which are so unbelievably easy to break.
In short the Gate Aster is really nice, and I’d be happy to include them in builds going forward, nice to add a more affordable option to the menu, as I won’t install anything I don’t trust to work.
