Been looking at RICO Auto on the higher timeframe and this looks like a pretty clean VCP (Volatility Contraction Pattern) setup.
You can see multiple contractions getting tighter over time
First pullback was relatively dee
Second formed a higher low
Third is a very tight range right under resistance
Price is basically compressing just below the breakout level.
What also stands out is that volume has started to pick up recently, which could mean participation is increasing as it approaches resistance.
From here it feels pretty straightforward:
-Break and hold above resistance -- potential continuation
-Rejection -- back to range / failed setup
Would you count this as a textbook VCP?
