Want do I have to do to transition into the construction industry? What skills should I learn? What roles can I apply for?

Does anyone know where I can get used AAT level 2 books either Osborne or Kaplan at an affordable price preferably the Q2022 syllabus? I heard that these two are easy to understand.

Hi everyone, I’m interested in KBM’s accountancy training and noticed they offer a good package with a 50% discount. Has anyone here heard of them or trained with them? I’ll be on maternity leave soon and I’d like to use the opportunity to upskill and move into accounting. The sales agent I spoke with today was quite pushy and wants me to commit immediately by making a deposit to secure the discount.

Hi all, I am a 34 years old female looking to switch career. I am currently working as a night care assistant due to family dynamics and would be going on mat leave soon. I want to use that opportunity to retrain and pivot into accounting or a more stable profession. I have a degree in biochemistry and some work experience from my home country before moving down to the UK in September 2022. Is there any chance of getting an accounting apprenticeship job considering my age and academic qualifications? I have been on a dependent leave to remain visa since Nov 2023.
