Urgent: 26-year-old girl in ICU
A 26-year-old girl Erum is currently admitted in ICU due to severe fever cough and shortness of breath. She also has a history of TB. Her condition was critical and since no ICU bed was available in a government hospital, she was shifted to a private hospital where she is now on oxygen support.
Doctors have started treatment with antibiotics and other medications. According to them recovery may take around 4–5 days, InshaAllah.
She belongs to a very humble background:
- Father is elderly and paralysed
- No brother in the family
- She has 4 sisters
- The household was mainly managed by her
- Family lives in a rented house
Daily ICU expense including medicines is approximately 15,000 PKR.
