I missed the application window for this year. Really hoping I can get into a township that offers a in house academy next year, there is one near me that does. Working as a ER tech with no EMT. What steps should I take to prepare? I workout 4-5 days a week, eat healthy, started running.

Hello, I want to become a firefighter. I know that Cincinnati has a class in the academy and then won’t have another one for a couple years. I also know colerain have a in house academy that you are paid while in the academy. What other departments around here do that? Or are there departments in the Cincinnati area that send you to an academy like Cincinnati state or a tech school like that? Thank you!
