4mg every other day progress

My two weeks progress. I was given the 4mg Microdosing pill plan which is taking it every other day. Side effects have been minimal. I got some minor headaches that quickly went away simply by drinking water. One day I felt nauseous but that was the morning after I failed to reach my protein goal and match my water intake with the outdoor activities I was doing most of the day. After drinking a protein shake that feeling went away. All has been well and I hope to continue this path until I reach my 140lbs goal.

Took the pill at wake up time. Drank water an hour after and I continued it replacing my coffee first routine. Did a whole body workout then ate breakfast with my coffee. I noticed a scratchy throat that went away by lunch time. Ate later than usual from lack of hunger but a creeping headache let me know it was time to eat. It went away after I ate but then I felt bloated for an hour or two. Took my multivitamin and fish oil. Dinner took longer to eat but I was able to eat it all. Drank metamucil with dinner. Ended up with a mild headache afterwards. Took magnesium glycinate 1hr before bed. Overall, headaches were my biggest issue but since Saturday I've been slightly sick or have bad allergies or both. Scratchy throat could be part of that too.

No pill day. Woke up hungry and it came with a vengeance. 15min core pilates. Inhaled my breakfast. Took pumpkin oil supplements. Didn't feel hunger for lunch but ate it normally. Did 15min on elliptical. Didn't feel hunger for dinner but also ate it normally. Meant to take Probiotic with dinner but forgot so I took it 1 hour before bedtime along with magnesium glycinate. Overall, I had a stuffy nose which throws it off from being considered a normal day but normal in the sense of no major changes due to the pill. Maybe only the lack of hunger for lunch and dinner. Oh, and metamucil must have really helped. Normal bowel movement but went more frequently.

Took the pill at wake up time. Started drinking water an hour later. Ate breakfast an hour later than usual due to work and got a slight headache (could have been work related). Added collegean to my coffee. Ate lunch an hour later too but wasn't hungry even then. Felt slightly bloated after. Took multivitamin and fish oil. Drank green tea. Started feeling extremely tired around 2:30pm. Did back and legs strength training. Didn't feel hunger for dinner but ate most of it anyway with metamucil. The potato wedges felt too heavy so I left most of it behind. Took magnesium glycinate 1hr before bed. Overall, just felt fuller quicker. The sleepiness is common around that time but it did feel stronger today. Normal bowel movement.

No pill day. Rest day for exercise. Calories will not be accurate for dinner since Fridays and Saturdays are eating out days but I'll stick to guestimate. Did not wake up hungry and didn't want breakfast at all but forced myself to eat it. Food is important. I didn't feel sick just didn't want to eat. Ate lunch closer to 3pm. Same thing as the morning. Felt fine but didn't want to eat which can become a problem if I hyper focus on something. Took pumpkin oil supplements and drank green tea. I didn't feel hunger for dinner until it got placed in front of me. I sat in front of it for like 30min then slight hunger struck. Took Probiotic. Took magnesium glycinate 1hr before bed. Overall, it was my least hungry day which is good but can also become a problem if I go back to my old ways where I forget to eat to the point of feeling sick. Normal bowel movement.

Set an alarm to take the pill at the usual time then slept a bit longer. Went out to garden until my husband reminded me to eat breakfast and to drink water (the hyper focus I worry about when eating and drinking is no where near my priority and my body isn't reminding me). Felt extremely full after breakfast. Added collegean to my coffee. Did an active VR workout game for 30MIN. Ate lunch. Took multivitamin and fish oil and drank green tea with lunch. Had 1 glass of wine. Had no desire to drink more than what I had in front of me. Drank metamucil with dinner. Took magnesium glycinate 1hr before bed. Overall, my day felt more normal. Minus the part where I didn't drink wine as much since that's a weekend thing for me. Yay to that though. Normal bowel movement.

No pill day. Ate a small breakfast and immediately felt full. Ate a salad for lunch and that apparently was a mistake. By dinner time I was starving! Dinner itself wasn't enough to fill me up. Drank a protein shake to finally stop growling. Protein protein protein! Took pumpkin oil after lunch and Probiotic after dinner. Did chest and arms strength training. Drank green tea. Treated myself to an ice cream sandwich. Took magnesium glycinate 1 hour before bedtime. Overall, I could have done eating a lot better. I barely ate breakfast and lunch had little protein. That backfired badly! The hunger lingered even past my dinner and that was a 8oz steak with 2 fingerlings potatos and broccolini. That's normally a filling dish for me so today it went all bad between breakfast lunch and workout. Protein shake saved the day though. No bowel movement today.

Pill day. Slight nausea and a lot of burping this morning. Drank water an hour later. Drinking water helped a bit. Fortunately I was able to turn it to a game with the kid I nanny for. We played the game of 'who will let out more gas before school?' me with my burps or him with his farts? I won. The sister was not thrilled but it helped me get past the overthinking of the minor discomfort I was feeling while driving. Had a short minor headache too which tells me my headaches have probably been connected to the pill. Ate breakfast and felt full immediately but still ate it all and the nausea went away. Generally I started feeling better. Added collegean to my coffee. Did 15min restorative yoga. Ate lunch without feeling hunger and drank green tea. Felt bloated afterwards for about an hour. Took multivitamin and fish oil. I kept having random burps that tasted like my lunch even hours later. Took me longer to eat dinner because I immediately felt full. Weirdly I did not end up feeling bloated. Drank metamucil. Took magnesium glycinate 1 hour before bedtime. Overall, It was my most side effects day but they weren't as bad to the point of me not functioning. Everything I felt would come and go or last less than 1 hour. My guess is that the weekend was felt and I'm starting to wonder if it has anything to do with maybe not drinking enough water after being outside all day in the heat and working out. I drank plenty of water but maybe not enough to keep up with those activities. Protein protein protein and water water water! I had some bowel movement but it indicated that I was constipated even though it was only one day that I didn't go. Hopefully that's all out.

Weekly thoughts:

Most of it didn't go the way I thought it would for the good and the bad. The good is that I barely got any side effects. A few that I did could have been a combination with me being sick before starting the pill or me not eating and drinking correctly. The bad is that I didn't lose much but time will tell. I already decided to give it until August to see how it goes. My problem was that I kept comparing the possible results to other things. I compared it to the few people who have mentioned how much they lost their first week on 4mg EOD. I compared it to how much I lost the first time a did a weight loss program which was strictly diet based (immediately lost 10lbs which I know was water weight and just expected the same with this). And I compared it to how I was losing before I started wegovy which was by diet and exercise. With diet and exercise, I would lose 1 to 2 lbs over night but it would jump right back up the next day or two. It was a vicious cycle of being within the same 5lbs no matter what I did. I always weigh myself at wakeup right after peeing so different times wasn't the problem. With the pill I just expected the water weight to go quickly and go slowly from there. I do hope I can lose close to 2 lbs per week but we will see. Weekends will always be my struggle because I'm not on a set routine like I am during my work week and my husband doesn't cook dinner at home on Fridays and Saturdays. I probably can cook something if my life depended on it but at some point I'm certain I'll accidentally poison myself so eating out is best. I don't plan to get greasy or high calorie meals though. I'm trying to stick to healthier options like what I eat throughout the week. I know I mentioned "forcing myself" to eat but that's due to understanding that I need food or else I would definitely feel sick. I don't mean it in the sense that I'm over eating. I also need to consider that I'm working out so my body will retain water while the muscles heal AND muscle weighs too. I'm using wegovy as a workout tool that will hopefully help me drop while I turn this into a habit. I can workout but I always hit a point where the weight didn't go down or it would easily go back up that I would give up since it felt pointless. I've lost 41lbs before but that was through a strict dieting program that didn't allow me to workout because of the few calories I was consuming so I didn't pick up on the habit of maintaining afterwards. Most of that weight returned not long after I stopped limiting common foods. I'm hoping for better results next week with Wegovy. It could be in my head but I do feel a bit slimmer (more like less bloated looking) around my lower abdomen and face.

Why I take these supplements while on wegovy?

Collagen peptides- "helps counteract common side effects by improving skin elasticity to prevent sagging, preserving lean muscle mass during rapid weight loss, and supporting joint health."

Pumpkin oil- "to counteract hair loss and thinning"

Multivitamin & Fish oil- "reduced appetite and slower digestion often cause significant nutrient deficiencies"

Green tea extract- "may help boost metabolic health"

Probiotic- "helps manage common gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, constipation, bloating, and diarrhea by restoring gut microbiota balance"

Magnesium glycinate- "improved sleep quality, reduced anxiety, eased muscle cramps, and support for bone/heart health."

Metamucil- "helps manage common side effects—specifically constipation—by promoting digestive regularity"

I recently started my wegovy journey and I figured I will post my experience kinda diary style week by week starting with getting the pill which I will consider it as..

Week 0 (31f, 5'8,190.3 lbs)

Mon, April 20th - 4:30pm decided to just see what happens through Her and by 6pm everything was approved. They put me on the 4mg Microdosing plan

Thurs, April 23rd - Got the notification that the prescription was filled and a shipping label was created

Fri, April 24th - Prescription out for delivery through USPS. Marked as delivered but didn't arrive. Contacted hers and thev told me to wait because sometimes USPS marks it as delivered before it actually gets delivered

Mon, April 27th - it arrived! One week after it got approved.
