I had a thought after finishing my most recent read through the series. Do you think there were riders who preferred weapons aside from swords?

We know Rhunön forged most of if not all of the riders swords. And we know that swords are practically part of the identity of each rider as their sword was customized to each one for the most part.

But what if a rider preferred a spear, axe, hammer or even a mace? I know those weapons aren't as versatile and some are downright inconvenient to use on dragonback (mace or spear). Do you think Rhunön ever forged something aside from a sword to be used as a riders primary weapon? To my knowledge it is never clearly stated one way or another so I'm interested to hear different takes.
