Left 8months ago, thank god
So I was an assistant manager at Menards for 1.5 nearly two years before that I was just a TM for 1.5 years. I quit because I was getting harassed by DM and my GMS didn’t care at all. They got annoyed because I wasn’t the only one reporting him because he was horrible to guests, horrible to other team members and NEVER did tasks on time. He is incredibly sexist and little homophobic. He was also constantly late. Just in one month he could have been fired 3 times over.
Anyways I still go in because I can get stuff cheaper there and I still have friends there. They are on their second replacement for me and he already wants to leave.
My old DM got another HORRIBLE 9block and even stated he surprised he wasn’t fired
The GMs fired a disabled assistant manager without any writes up because she forgot clock out for break one time but got it corrected.
They are current allowing managers to bully another disabled worker who suddenly became disabled because he suddenly started having seizures for unknown reason.
They have lost people left and right and I know people who have worked there for YEARS are planning to quit because of everything.
I got out and I am thankful I did.
