What Adhesive to use?

Hello all,
Not sure if this is the right sub to ask this question.
I am primarily a Saltwater angler, mostly vertical jigging.
I recently got into tying what we call assist hooks where a thick braided line or kevlar line is threaded onto a hook.

I have been using just thick UV resin to lock in the threads but I am really not sure if thats the proper way.
Are there other adhesives that i should be using like super glue or anything else or is just UV resin fine?

Hey guys, was recently looking into RayFishing rods. Just wanted to ask if anyone had used either the Golden Feather BFS and the Argentum BFS and which of the two is better used for trout fishing.

I happened to come across the Argentum BFS in my Local Shop however the Golden Feather BFS was still out of stock.

Is it worth waiting for the Golden Feather to come back in stock or should I just pull the trigger on the Argentum?

I plan to throw small jigs, mini hook up baits, maybe the occasional mini ned rig etc and not sure what rod would be best used for this application.

Current was extremely bad today and the heaviest jigs i had at the time was 200g - 250g.
Was still able to make it work and caught some decent salmon groupers and bank perch. Good day overall.

Hello guys.
Im looking to get a trout specific rod for my local stocked lakes. Looking to throw mini jigs, hook up baits etc at a minimum 1/32 oz.

Are there any good XUL/UL/L options, at least 6'6 ft and upwards of 7'6, even 8 if there are good models?
I'd like it to not be as noodly though, so at least a moderate fast but preferably fast/xtrafast.
And lastly, though its not as important, I'm a bit of a sucker for aesthetics are there any with these that have a split style grip? I still prioritize functionality over aesthetics.

I haven't fully researched Ajing rods to see if it fits my preferred specs.
Any help would be appreciated.

Fished a full day at Catalina Island at the time and the conditions were extremely rough and the fish were extremely finicky.

I forced myself to downsize to an SLJ setup but it ended up being the answer despite the rough conditions.

Caught my PB ocean whitefish at 4.13 lbs, some dinosaur macks,more whitefish, and a nice selection of rockfish.

All caught on a PE 0.8 SLJ setup which was super fun.

overall good sesh.
