BG 5000 bought off facebook, cleaned and regreased/oil. Even after cleaning it sounds aweful and doesnt spin freely.

Bought this reel off Facebook market place for a good deal (daiwa bg 5000) and it just didnt feel smooth. Not nearly as smooth as a reel Ive had for a decade that had never been cleaned. So i decided to buy some grease and oil to see if I could get it to come around.

Now Ive never done this b4, nor have I ever opened up a reel b4. But to me this just seems like too much grease. Could this be the cause of my issue?
