What color is the Ruger mk IV SSH ODG?
Best guess I have is milspec OD Green, but not sure. (Picture is from reddit because the picture on the site is under very bright lights, it looks darker in person).

Hi, the house we bought had a painted wood deck, we have a new baby so trying to avoid replacing all the deck boards with composite for the next few years.
Wood looks in good shape, but the paint is peeling (I peeled up those spots by hand), trying to figure out the best way to extend the life of the deck by a few years.
Should I strip and repaint? Strip and try and stain and seal? Use one of the products that claims you can paint over peeling paint after scraping anything loose off?
What's the best tool to strip/remove the current paint? If I cant get it stripped perfectly enough for a good stain coat, what is the best paint to use? This was painted with Sherwin Williams SuperPaint solid color deck "stain".
Thanks!
