I'm paying top dollar anyone who can give me a full professionnal training course on everything CFW, because it takes fucking a PhD to understand how to make everything work.
I'm 3 days into having jailbroken my Ps3 and can firmly say that nothing works as expected, the learning curve is steep and my life is too short to watch 9 million youtube videos or read reddit threads to find answers to my questions. And I have even less time for some "trial and error" when a backup takes 1 hour while my ps3 phat jet engine fucking takes off.
I want to talk to a pro and I want advice !!! Lmao 😂
Let's break down all the shit that I'm going through starting from the most urgent :
Why IS THE HDMI OUTPUT FUCKING UP ? Watch the video, whenever my Ps3 changes display output (when it loads a game or quit that game for example, switches between 720p to 1080p) my monitor sends me this never before seen message : "Input signal error" where I have to unplug the hdmi cord out of my ps3 and pluging it again to get an image on screen. I swear I have never encountered this issue before the jailbreak.
And I would rant for hours about how multiman is a UX nightmare, always have to refresh a zillion times to detect Discs or Iso, 5 trillion features that are obscure and useless, like why is there an option to install packages from Multiman ? It straight up doesn't work bro !
Backing up games didn't work on all discs and some games that I could back up gave me freezes, black screens and headhaches. Same goes on browsing brewology while on multiman...
Backing up Blu-Ray movies and DVDs is also very inconsistent, dodgy and most times doesn't work.
I also hate the fact that you have to restart the console everytime you do anything and by god I hate using thoses third party apps like moviman or irisman or any fucking -man application that only offers to do what multiman is supposed to do but on a shittier interface.
I'm ranting my ass off on this thread I don't give a shit ! This community needs a fucking a bible written by the devs themselves on every single features, problem solving tactics, workaround, risks, and common issue of the total custom firmware roaster. And if that shit already exists, then it should be accessible from the first page of the ps3 when you boot it. Or someting alike, I don't know. This is too complex, counter-intuitive and the ps3 is too fragile, too old tech and too slow to have the balls to try and understand shit by yourself. I'm busy bro I have a world to save from disaster and friends on munchies that I gotta feed.
