Should I fill out Census if I stay abroad?

Hi All,

I'm a Canadian citizen, but I stay in US now. Should I fill out the census? I did not receive the access code, but I was able to get it online. I do not see returning to Canada at least for a few years, I'm unsure tbh. Will I still be considered temporarily out of Canada?

CSA vs Engineering?? Inputs needed

Hi Everyone.
I have a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, equivalent to a US Bachelor's in Science in Computer Engineering and a Master's in Computer Science.

My old experience titles have been Software Engineer and System Engineer, both in Salesforce development capacity.

My job offer has the title of Senior Consultant with Salesforce related Consultant roles and responsibilities. Some of the responsibilities states like:

▪ Configure Salesforce Service Cloud Voice and Amazon Connect solutions

▪ Drive best practice contact center design into each and every aspect of solution delivery

▪ Effectively manage all aspects of projects and customer communications

▪ Deliver customer end user training and documentation

▪ Oversee and be accountable for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned projects

▪ Exercise independent judgment and take the lead role on enterprise level projects with minimal direction from senior management

I was assuming that my TN would be filed under the CSA category, but company lawyers confirmed to me that they are filing under the Engineering category.

This is a USCIS TN application. Any inputs and suggestions on what the appropriate category is for this case? Should I reach out to the lawyers to change the category, or does Engineering sound correct? I don't want to get RFE for this. Already, the whole process has been very slow and anxious.

Hi everyone,

I'm a Canadian national applying for OCI in the US. As a non-US national.

  1. I have to submit the address proof from Canada. I only have the mobile telephone bill as address proof. I called the customer care, and he said you can try submitting a mobile telephone bill as address proof, but VFS customer care is unsure if it's a valid address proof for a non-US national. He also said it's up to the verification team at the consulate to accept the telephone bill or not. Do I write a letter and get it notorized ?
  2. Proof of legal status in the US, I'm on H4 status, which only reflects on my I-94; Canadians don't get an explicit visa or any application form. Will an I-94 be sufficient for legal status in the US?

Looking for guidance for anyone in the same boat and have successfully obtained OCI? I'd prefer not to submit the application and then have it sent back to me for this minor issue. As you already know, these folks cost us a bomb for this whole end-to-end process.
