I’ve been making a commonplace journal for a friend, but I’m honestly worried to give it to her. I’ve filled it with information she would like, as well as everything I want to share with her (like favorite poems, books), but I just feel that my journal is so messy, plain, and not engaging. I regret springing for plain sheets most of all.

Should I have tried to make a prettier book for her? Or is it the thought that counts?

Next entries definitely need pictures. Also thought to start with a quick overview of why I think this discipline is important too!
