Last night I attended a concert at the Parca Della Musica and it was a nightmare to get back to my hotel near Piazza Navonna. I took a taxi there, but at 10 pm could find no taxi back - none at the concert hall, and my phone was not getting internet so I could not use an app. I tried flashing down taxis with their taxi light on, but after three drove past me, I ended up walking back. Over three miles. No taxi stands on the way. How can I avoid this again? I don’t only go to the main tourist areas with obvious taxi stands.
