Hi everyone.

I'm a second year student in UCL studying mathematical physics. I am interested in applying for part 3, theoretical physics, and I wanted to ask if my first year grades make me a weak applicant. I've achieved an average of exactly 70% in first year but I'm on track to have 85+ in second year. Also done an internship in elite uni (HYPSM level), with publication pending, strong LORs. Will be doing a second project in a similar level university this summer. A little worried that even if I do amazing in my second year the first year grades are just way too low.
