Apple Watch survived 6 months in a toilet tank… and still works
I’m not even going to defend this.
About 6 months ago, I somehow dropped my Apple Watch Series 8 into my toilet tank while I was drunk out of my mind. Didn’t notice. Completely forgot about it.
Fast forward to moving out — we were cleaning the place, opened the tank, and there it was. Just sitting there like nothing happened.
Cleaned it up, let it dry, powered it on…
It booted…
It works…
Touch, crown, sensors — everything.
The body looks destroyed (corrosion everywhere), but the fact it still runs after sitting in a toilet tank for half a year is insane.
Apple’s durability is no joke.
Also… yeah, I should probably drink less.
