Way to create an “alternate sprite” mode?

For the project I’m working on, I’d like to implement a toggle that replaces all the sprites with alternate ones. Think like a “funny hat mode” or something, where the actions and dialogue are the same, but the sprites are all replaced. Is there a way to do this?

Think about it. Something new for her to do. A way to add more women to the bat family without actually adding more characters. Retroactively a female character with an incredibly long spanning run. A birds of prey tie in comic or something idk
