Found this little tanuki in someone’s garden and honestly I’m obsessed
I noticed this tanuki decoration while walking by someone’s garden today. The little wooden tag around its neck says “念力” (“psychic powers”), which somehow made it even better.

Found these during yesterday’s walk in Osaka.
The rainy season hasn’t even started yet, but the hydrangeas already felt like summer quietly approaching.
Seeing various dahlias while out for a walk always brightens my day.
Is this beautiful orange one ‘Orange Stone’? It looks just like it!
New to the world of flowers. Lately, I've been obsessed with spotting beautiful flowers on the street, capturing them, and just getting lost in their beauty.
The last photo is the 'Chante' I found before. Which one do you like better? I'm definitely a 'Chante' fan!
It was blooming with stunningly large flowers.
Found this rose blooming elegantly today. The contrast between white and red is so striking.
Dianthus. The deep red core is striking.
These pale pink dogwood flowers are from the "Forest Chapel" in the Expo '70 Commemorative Park.
Looking at them, I am reminded of a famous Japanese song titled "Hanamizuki" (Dogwood). There is a beautiful phrase in it:
"May you and your loved ones continue for a hundred years."
It’s a prayer for lasting peace and love. I want to share this blessing with all of you. Sending love and light to everyone.
The morning rain brought out such delicate details in these blooms. I find it so calming to look at.
Spotted this impressive Kabuto today. It’s part of a seasonal display for Tango no Sekku on May 5th. The level of detail in the metalwork and the bold colors of the display are really powerful. It’s a beautiful piece of Japanese tradition.
Found this Anisodontea at Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park in Osaka, near the "Sakuya Konohana Kan" pavilion. It’s actually named after Konohanasakuya-hime, the ancient Japanese goddess of flowers. Such a beautiful space—you can really feel her gentle energy in the air.
Spotted these Gazanias for the first time while out for a walk today. I did a little digging and found out they’re actually named after a 15th-century scholar who translated Aristotle! Pretty wild history for a flower, right? They’re also called "Treasure Flowers" because they look just like gems when they pop open in the sun.
Found this incredible mosaic staircase at Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park in Osaka.
It features everything from the Earth and Moon to Japanese folklore creatures like the "Kappa."
It's like walking through a storybook on your way up.
My neighbor is so thoughtful. They wrote the name "Black法師" on a wooden ice cream spoon so everyone walking by can know what it is. It really warmed my heart.
While I was taking pictures, a stranger stopped, and we had a lovely chat about how incredible the flowers look. Flowers really do bring people together.
Had you ever seen a Black Rose bloom this big before?
Just spotted this 30th-anniversary design. Would these be a hit in your country?
I found these unique double-flowered Snapdragons at Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park in Osaka. Unlike the common ones that look like little mouths, these have beautiful layers of petals. I'm guessing the variety might be "Madame Butterfly" because of this elegant shape. This park was the venue for the 1990 International Garden and Greenery Exposition (Flower Expo), and you can still find such rare and beautiful species thriving here.
