US trained IM coming back to Canada?
Canadian at US MD school here, applying IM upcoming cycle in the US. I would love to come back to Canada after residency.
However, I am unsure about how a 3 year residency compares to 4/5 year residency for IM in Canada?
Would I be less competent than my Canadian trained counterpart? Would I be less desirable in terms of job prospects?
Also, I’m having a hard time finding the salary for IM in Canada.
Would love to hear any feedback on these questions.
