Hi Team,

I'm writing as a staff member of Singularity Forge, an indie game studio.

I'm our Director of Marketing, Social, and Community, and our official Reddit account u/SingularityForge was just created and thus doesn't meet the account age/karma requirements to be requesting a Subreddit.

We have two published games on the Google Play Store, Eat the Universe and Witchsort, and are working on a 3D Unreal Engine project as well, so we are very much a real studio.

As for r/SingularityForge, we have no affiliation, nor have we ever had any affiliation with that community. It wasn't on our radar at all, and the Subreddit was banned before I even joined the studio. Given my position as the Director of Community, I would like to claim ownership of this banned community and relaunch it from scratch as our Studio's official Subreddit. I have no idea why they were banned, or what the community was about, but again, we have never had any affiliation with them, nor do we intend to continue whatever they were doing prior to their ban. It's just a matter of having the name itself, especially to alleviate any potential reputational damage affiliated with a banned community that used our name.

As the official landing community for our studio, I would intend to use the community as a means of connecting players and fans of our games, franchises, etc. to engage and communicate with each other, and with us as studio, sharing official social media posts, trailers, and so on.
