The bigger problem for America and the World

Trump, Hegseth, Sen. Graham, etc, are a symptom of the bigger problem in America. The 70 million people who voted for Trump will still exist even after he leaves office. Meaning in another election, a Trump like figure can come along and do Trump like stuff like start useless wars, insult world leaders etc.

We are essentially stuck in a "holding pattern" where the next Trump-like figure is an inevitability, not a possibility. Change my view that the U.S. is doomed to keep electing "outsider" populists who prioritize chaos over the national interest.

Countries like GCC, Japan, S. Korea, and Europe will have to rethink their so-called alliances and security guarantees. It's just inevitable. Can they shield their economies from American politics ? Currently , No. But with time they can.
