Additional resources? Needing to get educated!
Hi, the last couple years I’ve fallen in love with Dahlia‘s and had success growing two of them last year, over the winter I went a overboard, and ordered a lot. The ordering coincided with us purchasing a home (in zone 9) with a backyard really well suited for growing them. As they came in, I started planting. I had never heard about gall until I started reading this community board, and I found this community board after I started planting. But it’s not just about the gall, I’ve been following the planting advice from the different companies that I ordered from and while a few of them mentioned needing to being aware of rot and mildew on the tubers, through this community I am getting a thorough education on learning everything that can go wrong. I’ll be honest, I have planted many dozens of dahlias that around my yard. They’re all coming up and looking so beautiful, so full of potential …….So here’s my question to you…. the talented growers in this community….. Where are your online resources that can teach me everything about Dahlia’s, because I need to get up to speed quick! Here are some pictures of my inspiration, and therefore my increasing panic.
