Tired of looking for plumbing job in OC

That’s the brutal truth about plumbing and a lot of other trades right now — companies only want experienced techs.
I’ve been calling plumbing companies for months trying to get a helper/apprentice position with no luck.
I honestly don’t know if OC’s job market is just cooked right now or if plumbing is like this everywhere.
I have about a year of experience, but everywhere I call wants at least 3 years. And it’s not like you can fake that in plumbing — it’ll show immediately in the field.
People say the trades are in demand, but most companies don’t even want to train anymore. At that point it starts feeling like any other industry, maybe even harder to break into.
If you have any available entry level position for a construction worker or a plumber helper/apprentice with a year of experience let me know

Hey there, I'm a really hard worker. I've worked as a plumber for about a year, but there's still a big room to grow and learn. I got laid off from my last company in Orange. I've called about 100 plumbing companies near me, mostly looking for 3+ years of experience. If you know anyone or any company that's looking for a hard worker and an on-time plumbing helper/apprentice, please let me know.
