Surface Pro alternatives today?

I have a SP7 and between battery life (2-3 hours max) and a struggling processor (take 30-50s to open a PDF these days), I need to replace it sooner rather than later. I was looking at the SP11, but it really seems Microsoft is not interested in this line anymore, and innovation has massively stagnated. In an ideal world, the surface studio laptop with updated specs would be amazing, but unfortunately there's nothing in that space with any brand including MS.

Given that I need a touchscreen for working (e.g. referring to excerpts from large PDFs on the fly), and a stylus is very handy for underlining notes etc. what are my options for a similar device? (I really don't want one of those devices that folds 'backwards' i.e. the keyboard goes on the bottom).

The only one that seems suitable is the Asus ProArt pz13, but it seems not available online for sure, and even Asus says they have no idea if it's available anywhere offline. Its successor, the pz14, isn't available yet for purchase in any country.

Appreciate any recommendations.
