please help with new cat, won’t stop making sin biscuits and won’t let me sleep

hello!!

I recently adopted my first cat from a friend of my partner. he was a stray, recently fixed. all up to date in his shots. I was very excited and bought everything I could to make sure I was ready.

we get home and he keeps making sin biscuits on my leg, I am redirecting. he’s biting me and scratching me randomly and painfully. im eating dinner he is taking food from my mouth I am putting him down, and saying no, he countines to do it. I can’t drink my drink or else he knocks it down.

now it’s bed time, I am so tired. he won’t stop crying unless I let him make sin biscuits or bite me. i am crying for the 10th time at this point. i have the calming cat stuff plugged in and everything i want to go to bed please help.

edit: i feel like an awful person but im out in the bathroom with with his toys and litter box so i can sleep

hello!

I graduate in December with my communications B.S, and want to go into higher education. I have two years experience as am RA, one and an half years as an office coordinator, and three years as an intern for my schools housing department. I’ve done things like search committee, room changes, lock changes, charging students, conduct etc.

My first question is when do I apply for jobs as a December graduate? I don’t have the option of moving home so I need a job lined up ASAP.

Second, what areas should I look into based off my experience and lack of masters? I plan to get my masters while working.

any advice old be great!
