Neighbor trespassed and dumped all my rainwater caches
I have rural property about an hour from where I live. I received a text message from the belligerent neighbor that he went into my property and dumped out all my rainwater caches. What do I do?
Should the conversation go in these directions: 1) The rainwater was to water plants and in case brush-burning escapes the burn barrel. 2) There were mosquito dunks in them. 3) It’s a bad time for me to go to the property until after finals, and even then I’m very reluctant to have to spend ~$30 in fuel as a full-time student.
Neighbor has been mad since day 1 of me buying the property. The only clear spot on my legal property is at the end of his easement. He likes to walk down the easement sometimes and he’s P.O.’d that I have gardening equipment, chainsaws, and PPE stored in my property but he can see it.
