I was struggling to find an appropriate subreddit so please let me know if this isn’t correct I’m just at my wits end here. Long story short in October 2025 a family member was killed in her home an investigation was opened and has since been closed. The cleaning issue I’m facing is trying to remove luminol off of walls in the home since they’ve been sitting so long the stains are very set. I can’t find any information online other than to just paint over it and I’m just hoping we can avoid adding that. If anyone has ever dealt with something similar (my deepest condolences) I am open to any advice.
