Do Shopify blogs actually bring sales or just traffic?

I’ve been seeing more people talk about SEO and blogging for Shopify stores lately, but I’m curious how many store owners are actually seeing real results from it.

Are blogs bringing:

  • actual conversions?
  • better quality traffic?
  • repeat customers?
  • or mostly just impressions and clicks?

Would love to hear real experiences because it feels like most stores either completely ignore blogs or post random content without much strategy behind it.

What’s the most underrated thing that improved your Shopify store performance?

I’ve noticed a lot of Shopify advice focuses on the same things over and over like ads, redesigns, or chasing viral products, but I’m curious about the smaller changes that actually moved the needle for people.

Was it:

  • improving product pages?
  • better SEO?
  • adding blogs/content?
  • fixing page speed?
  • email flows?
  • removing apps?
  • something unexpected?

Would love to hear real examples from store owners because sometimes the biggest wins seem to come from things nobody talks about much.

What’s one thing you stopped doing in SEO that actually improved your results?

Curious if anyone has had better results after simplifying their SEO strategy instead of doing more.

Could be:

  • content
  • backlinks
  • technical SEO
  • AI tools
  • blogging
  • keyword targeting

Sometimes it feels like cutting out ineffective tactics helps more than adding new ones. Interested to hear real examples.
