We’ve made some changes to how sale posts are handled to keep the subreddit safer and more consistent.

What’s changed?

1. [WTS] posts now REQUIRE the FOR SALE flair

• If your title includes [WTS], your post must use the FOR SALE flair
• Posts using WTS without the correct flair will be removed

2. FOR SALE flair is now restricted

• Only users with one of the following flairs can post sales:
  • Verified
  • Trusted Seller
  • Mod
• If you’re not verified, your FOR SALE post will be removed
• If you see a sales post but the user does not have a verified tag to his/her username, DO NOT PURCHASE, it is likely a scammer. All sales posts must be accompanied by the FOR SALE post flair, it is how we protect you as a buyer. (Or they posted before we introduced this system)
• If you attempt to circumvent this and get caught, you will receive a warning. Repeat offenses will lead to an indefinite ban

How to post correctly

To create a valid sale post:

• Use FOR SALE flair
• Start your title with [WTS]
• Be a Verified seller
