I have at least 60 semester units and was wondering how disadvantaged I'd be or how plausible it would be to complete a sophomore transfer app. I'm attending UCSB as a CS major and I just don't think I fit the culture or what it offers me academically at all, and I want to transfer to UCSD, UCB, or UCLA.

I understand UC-UC transfer is extremely difficult, but I still want to take a shot (+ I'll have another chance if I wait till next yr). Should I just wait another yr or should I try to rack up as many things at UCSB within months? I already have a research internship lined up at the school and I'll try to fish around for more opportunities.
