Embarrassing Q - Toolbar

I’m working though the user guide and clicking around. This is dumb but when I click a toolbar icon the additional options pop up and disappear SO QUICKLY. I don’t even have the time to get the pen to a thicker width.

This is 100% an operator error but I’m kind of lost as to what I’m doing wrong. What’s the secret?

My wonderful people of Reddit,

I’ve come to ask a question I’ve seen posted on multiple subs, multiple times but I’m struggling: Remarkable PP vs the Supernote Manta.

I’ve watched YouTube reviews as well as beginners videos optimizing use. I’m leaning toward Supernote because I’m using for notes more than anything and it seems like better capabilities (headings / quick access / etc.) BUT I’m still conflicted.

Reasons for super note:
- mostly note use; I’m a SAHM who works part time doing research, community mental health, and a little bit of PE work from my old life.
- Headings and star function seem dope vs my ADHD/scattered mom brain organizing RMPP tags.
- No big sketching dreams or reading a whole book but will need PDF annotation.
- I need the task and calendar function.
- My impression is that the Supernote sub reports less glitching which is a win. However, there are overall more “I regret my purchase” posts.

Reasons for RMPP:
- I got to test and liked it.
- I could template my way to a planner/ calendar.
- Larger user base and therefore more support resources. I’m not gonna do mods tho bc that’s an intimidating loss of time.
- Bigger screen and light because I usually work in a dark bedroom while the bb sleeps.
- Integration with Google Drive and ability to directly email notes.
- This dumb but honest: it’s prettier and I like the full folio. My toddler is bound to decorate the white Supernote plastic as soon as she can.
- RMPP support seems good though I saw a recent change in the care plan. There’s more troubleshooting on the sub which makes me nervous because I just need something to work reliably.
- Better battery life.

It’s a huge expense so I feel a little nervous to make the wrong choice. But! It’s time to decide as I promised myself I would get one before an upcoming training.

I figured I would ask this community for feedback. Thanks!
