We have - for better or worse - held to the idea of "support the underdog" and "tall poppy syndrome" i.e. the big guy deserves to be cut down irrespective of their motivations or values
Hence, pro-IRGC and Pro-Pal voices will blame supposed US-Israel "imperialism", but the moment you raise moral cases for the Iranian people themselves, you hit a brick wall.
Anyone else encounter this?

Chaplain Davis was ordained a Southern Baptist minister in 1995 and is endorsed by the North American Mission Board. He entered the Air Force Reserve as a chaplain in 1997 and active duty in 1998. During his career, he served in numerous leadership positions at the Group, Wing, Numbered Air Force and Major Command levels. After assignments as Installation Chaplain, Wing Chaplain and Deputy Command Chaplain, he served as Command Chaplain for United States Air Forces Central, United States Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa and Air Combat Command.

Why him?
If disclosure were to have religious implications and consequences including "ontological shock", the most obvious person you would want to tell or get guidance from would be the spiritual advisor to the military personnel who have had encounters and filed the reports

I know I'm not alone in voicing my frustration at turning on the free-to-air news and seeing interviews with "experts" (university academics, military analysts, political representatives).
But can anyone recommend reporters (commercial + independent) or vloggers who actually go out on the streets to protests/rallies to interview actual Iranians?
