Annoying Teacher

Im from Asia and currently studying there. My first language is Chinese while English is my second.

My dream is to study abroad in English speaking countries because for some odd reason, my Chinese sucks while my English is the best in my grade. It is probably because my parents pretty much forced me to learn English since I was born and neglected Chinese.

My current Chinese teacher is aware of this. And I've already told her that my dream and my goal is to study abroad in English speaking countries. Which is why im focusing on my electives and maths, and given up on my Chinese because from what I've heard (Sorry if im wrong) but most universities in other countries dont really care about my Chinese and pretty much only care about my English. Even after explaining my goals and intentions. She still tells me I have to be good at Chinese to do good in the future. I understand that a teacher wants their students to do good in the subjects they're teaching. But this is just getting frustrating. I dont know how to get her to stop bugging me or how to just ignore her. Please help me out!
