Delema/question/ am I cooked?

Delema/question/ am I cooked?

As the title sayes

I’m going to keep this short and simple

I had a rear differential leak coming from the flange/ drive shaft

Took the drive shaft out put it the seal and put on the

Peion nut back ( didn’t torque it and don’t know the specs for it)

Drove it like 700 feet and heard a huge poping sound

Drove back immediately took off the back cover and this is what I see?

Here is the question

Do I need to replace the whole differential ?

Or can I get a way with it?

Also how do I tourq down the pinion nut?

Also it’s still leaking from there ?

Your answers and comments are greatly appreciated
