I’ve been dealing with extreme upper right side pain with any kind of fatty, acidic, spicy, processed or sugary foods or condiments specifically for at least a month now, but have been having general pain around my body where the ribs are for 3 years. I’m 24 almost 25 now, started when I was 22.
I’ve been told that my ejection fraction is 83, so above average but not high enough for concern apparently.
This pain is so bad I’ll be up all night screaming and crying, going to drs for 3 years with no answers and when I go to the ER they say they can’t do emergency surgery and won’t even bother to schedule it out. I have a gallbladder surgeon but he doesn’t want to take it out either because of my age and the ejection fraction being semi normal.
I’m going crazy because nobody will help me. I’ve been put on pain meds and it hurts even through the pain. I put myself on a diet to avoid the irritant foods and it kinda made the pain less worse for a while.
I also found out I had a duodenal ulcer that has never been treated for a year because I decided to look at my past endoscopy paperwork. My dr never told me or recommended a diet. I had a more recent endoscopy that said it was gone. Since everyone kept saying my gallbladder was fine, I decided to try to go back to a normal diet since my ulcer was gone. Two days into that and I had the worst attack of my life, literally feels like my gallbladder is rotting inside of me.
What can I do? Who can I go to? What do I have to say at the ER for them to consider me for the surgery? I’m at the point now where after that attack it’s painful to eat anything, even the low fat foods I was eating on my diet. I’m so desperate for answers. I’m at home all the time, I had to quit my job, quit school, and I can’t leave the house hardly because my pain is so bad.
