Reviewing for a placement into pre calc

I’m trying to place into Precalculus 1 at my university, but I have to pass a placement test first. The problem is, it’s been about two years since I last did any math, and I feel pretty weak in algebra right now.

I’m honestly not sure what’s even on the placement test, and that’s what’s stressing me out the most. I don’t know which algebra topics are actually important for precalc, so I don’t know what I should be focusing on when I review.

I know I can review effectively if I have a clear, organized list of topics But without a structured roadmap, I end up jumping around, getting stuck, and losing motivation because I don’t feel like I’m making progress.

Any suggestions? I’ve got around 4 months to study.

stuck between Informatics and CS Degree

Currently a HS student and I have a passion for computer science.

I want to do a CS degree but the competition in my state is way too much, maybe around 18% acceptance rate into the CS degree in the University of Washington. This makes it super hard for me to even decide for the major.

There's also the Informatics major which is really good at my university, should I go with that instead? The reason I ask this is because in the future employers will NOT care about your 4 year degree and 4.0 GPA, but they look at your skills and projects and experience (which is a big part of informatics is to build projects and collaborate). Does it really matter if I pick either one?

Note: I'm not looking to study in another state at all.
